Licensed as a Salesperson in 1992, Rachel’s early real estate career consisted of helping clients in the process of buying and selling property, with a specialty in new construction. She received her Broker’s license in 1997 and became the Sales Manager at the largest and oldest company in Bloomington in 1998. In 2000, when the company merged with a locally owned state franchise company, Rachel was named Referrals & Relocation Manager, a position she held until 2008. With her commitment to helping people buy and sell real estate, her eye for detail and organizational skills, she became Assistant to a long-time agent in 2008, and continued as a Broker and Office Administrator until August 2017. She worked with an independent company helping Buyers & Sellers until November 2018. Rachel is now helping Buyers & Sellers and serving as Office Manager at Griffin Realty.
Rachel served as a Director on the Bloomington MLS Board of Directors in 2008 and 2010-2013 and served as the Project Manager for the transition to a new website host for the MLS in 2009. She was the 2002 President of the Bloomington Board of REALTORS. In addition, Rachel obtained the Graduate, REALTOR Institute (GRI) designation in 1998, and has served on or chaired several BBOR committees since starting her real estate career
